How Do I Get to Your Campus?

We are located at 11109 Poole Rd. (where Wendell Falls Pkwy meets Poole Rd.)

What to Expect:

  • Where Do I Go? The Worship Recreation Center (WRC) is the largest building on campus. IT sits on the east side of campus and has a large covered drive-through at the main entrance. Greeters are available to help you find your way around campus. Coffee Fellowship begins in the foyer at 9:00AM, and Worship starts at 9:30AM. We have many Small Groups available for all ages from 11:00AM-12:00PM.
  • What Should I Wear? God sees our heart and that’s what He cares about. We encourage you to come as you are! Sunday morning dress is anywhere from business casual to jeans and t-shirts.
  • What Should I Expect In A Worship Service? We offer a blended style of worship. Each worship service is formatted in such a way that we give equal emphasis to the preaching of the word, the singing of praises, the lifting up of prayers, giving to the advancement of God’s kingdom, and remembering what our Savior, Jesus Christ has done for us.
  • What About My Kids During Worship?
    • A nursery will be open for babies to walking. Older preschoolers will get a “First Look” at God’s Word through games, nature activities, art, music, and storytelling.
    • Based on Luke 2:52, K-5th graders will worship with their parents for the first part of the service then go to their own dynamic and interactive age teaching time.  Children K-5th will be dismissed from the main service before the message to an age specific time of worship.  Registration for Kids connect is in the main lobby at the Kids Connect Kiosk.

VIsions & Beliefs

OUR SCRIPTURAL BASIS:

  • 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
  • 2 Timothy 2:2 (NLT) You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.

OUR LIFE MEASURES:

  • Put God first (ABIDE)
  • Love without limits (OBEDIENCE)
  • Grow in Christlikeness (SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION)
  • Serve with humility (SERVANTHOOD)
  • Mentor other believers (DISCIPLE-MAKING)
  • Reach your neighbor (OUTREACH/EVANGELISM)
  • Grow in generosity (STEWARDSHIP)

OUR CORE VALUES:

OUR MINISTRY STRATEGY

Our aim is to partner with families to develop servant leaders through a cyclical approach to spiritual development by providing a series or equipping classes:

  • Discover CENTRAL: Learn what biblical church membership means, what we believe as a church, and what makes Central unique.
  • Discover MATURITY: Dig into the spiritual disciplines of reading God’s Word, prayer, sharing, and giving, to help you grow in your spiritual maturity.
  • Discover MINISTRY: Take a deep look at your spiritual gifts, passions, abilities, personality, and past experiences and discovering how to use all of them to minister to others.
  • Discover MISSIONS: Become equipped for evangelism and discipleship, so you can fulfill God’s purpose in your life of making disciples

OUR ESSENTIAL BELIEFS

  • About the Bible: The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth and authority for Christian beliefs and living. (2 Timothy 3:162 Peter 1:20-212 Timothy 1:13Psalm 119:105,16012:6Proverbs 30:5)
  • About Human Beings: People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. This attitude separates people from God and causes many problems in life. (Genesis 1:27Psalm 8:3-6Isaiah 53:6Romans 3:23Isaiah 59:1,2)
  • About Salvation: Salvation is God’s free gift to us. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his/her life by faith. (Romans 6:23Ephesians 2:9John 14:61:12Titus 3:5Galatians 3:26Romans 5:1)
  • About Eternal Security: Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. If you have been genuinely saved, you cannot “lose” your salvation. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this security. (John 10:292 Timothy 1:12Hebrews 7:2510:10,141 Peter 1:3-5)
  • About Eternity: People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence. (John 3:165:11-13Romans 6:23Revelation 20:15Matthew 1:82:44-46)

Missions

A LOCAL CHURCH VISION FOR A WORLDWIDE MISSION

At Central, we have embraced Jesus’ Acts 1:8 challenge as our model for impacting lostness and disciple-making in our world.

Acts 1:8 (ESV) “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

We have personalized this biblical mission’s strategy by identifying our unique mission fields in three primary classifications.

Our Local Community

  • First Priority: A Youth organization that supports student-initiated, student-led Christian clubs on middle school and high school campuses

  • Local Projects: We respond to the need of the residents of our community with various projects
  • Every member is called to be a local missionary: We challenge every member to be on mission with Christ in their homes, communities, schools and work place
