Private Music lessons
Students receive focused one-on-one training providing step-by-step development in the respective disciplines. Students learn technique and music theory(chord charts and on the staff), as they are classically trained, while they also receive ear training and develop improvisational skills.

In a group setting with musical peers students receive focused training and step-by-step development in their collective discipline. Students learn technique and music theory (chord charts and on the staff), as they are classically trained, while they also receive ear training and develop improvisational skills.
***CAW does not preset groups. The following are rates offered to clients who would like to register as a group of 3-5. Also, note that in these scenarios there must be one party responsible for the account and making the total payment.
Ensembles
Scripture Over Song, His Word in the words.
As we gather for ensemble sessions here at Central Arts Wendell Music, a portion of the time is dedicated to reading and briefly discussing scripture related to the lyrical content of the songs we sing and play. Intentionally doing so encourages worship in Spirit and in Truth, creating opportunities for discipleship as we sing and play to the glory of God.
Worship Band Track
“Building Your Band”
With this option active private or group lesson students receive training by being part of a worship band to enhance their skill and learn how to work together to create a cohesive sound. Students will meet for a one hour rehearsal weekly under the guidance and direction of one of our seasoned instructors. In addition, the bands will perform at the Winter and Spring Concerts where there will be a vote on which band performed the best. The winner with the most votes from each concert will be awarded a professional recording(audio and video at CAW Recording Studios) of the song of their choosing to be shown at Band camp the following summer.

Professional Audio Recording services are provided here at CAA with Producer and Engineer, Jeff Germain. Jeff offers decades of experience, education and knowledge here in our Chrst-centered environment to bring recording clients quality results.
First Steps program (6-9)
Where children the ages of 6 to 9 learn explorative movement in a safe, structured and nurturing environment. Young dancers will learn the art of balance and strength, the mastery of imagination and wonder, while developing their dexterity, coordination, and learning how their musculoskeletal system works in tandem with their mind. They will also learn the importance of musicality, dynamic range, and versatility of dance genres. The classes are progressive in nature, provoking the young dancer to celebrate small wins; hence, encouraging confidence and positive self-affirmation. This program meets on Tuesday from 3:15-4pm and/or Saturday from 9-9:45am.
Technique Track (Mandatory)
Our core program focusing on classical ballet and modern technique along with body conditioning. This class meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:15-6:15pm.
Performance track
(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - The Technique Track is REQUIRED to participate.)
Application of classical ballet and modern techniques to learn choreography, work on other styles of dance, and participate in special projects. The day will consist of TECHNIQUE CLASS (ballet or modern) and class work in choreography, jazz, musical theatre, hip hop, tap, national character dance (folk dance), etc. This class meets on Saturday from 10am-12pm.
improvisation & composition
(RECOMMENDED- The Technique Track is REQUIRED to participate.)
Improvisation is learning to create spontaneous movement within a given structure while composition is developing original dance content from the spontaneous movement. Both improvisation and composition are necessary skills for college, professional dance, and musical theatre auditions. Class times are to be announced.
pointe
(BY INVITATION ONLY)
(The Technique Track is REQUIRED to participate.)
Students who demonstrate physical maturity and sufficient technical competence will be invited to enroll. Pointe work is an extension of strong classical ballet technique, and requires an adequate amount of physical development, specifically in the ossification of the growth plates in the feet.
Invitation to the class will be determined in the first week of technique class. Check below to express an interest in this class. No fees will be charged until the student is placed. Class times are to be announced.
Homeschool Program
A 90-minute technique program modeled on our Pre-Professional Program (P3) which features classical ballet and modern technique. Saturday Dance Studies compliments the Homeschool Dance Studies by providing exposure to several styles of dance. This class meets on Thursday from 2:30-4pm.
Saturday Dance Studies
Application of classical ballet and modern techniques to learn choreography, work on other styles of dance, and participate in special projects. Adults program (19+)
We offer classes for the adult who is curious about dance, the adult who desires to pick up where they left off, the professional dancer as well as that adult who is looking for a safe, fun, and effective way to get into shape.
Ballet - Tuesday from 6:30-8pm.
Modern Dance - Thursday from 6:30-8pm.
Tap - Thursday from 6:30-7:30pm.
Ballet/Modern Dance Combination Class - Saturday from 12:15-1:45pm
