Gayle has been a part of Central her whole life and has worked in various volunteer activities throughout the years. She retired after teaching high school English for 30 years and has been with Central as the Operations Ministry Assistant since 2020. She and her husband, Lynn, have two daughters, Cheyenne and Mallory.

Matt joined the Central Staff in the summer of 2023. He has 10+ years of experience serving churches in Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia as well as serving overseas with the International Mission Board. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Teaching English as a Second Language at Liberty University and his Master of Divinity degree in Christian Ministry at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Emily have two awesome boys-Ezra and Micah, and they look forward to the birth of their daughter Milana later this year.

Charlotte Clevenger holds a Bachelor of Science in Music and Worship from Liberty University, which she completed in 2024. She currently serves as the Creative Director at Central. Charlotte’s husband, Luke Clevenger, also serves on the staff at Central.

Mick Bowen pastored two churches in Kentucky and North Carolina for nearly 40 years. His ministry model was primarily focused on missions and grace giving. He is passionate about mobilizing the local church to spread the gospel to the nations.

Since retiring in 2021 from full-time ministry, he spends his time assisting churches and ministries with global missions. He has been married to his wife, Bonna, for 50 years and has three wonderful daughters and 4 grandchildren.

Robert joined our staff as the Student Pastor in 2018. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2013, and received his Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2019. He and his wife Carrieanna have two children – Emma & Benjamin

Luke Clevenger is a 2025 graduate of Liberty University, where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Worship Leadership. He is currently continuing his education at Southeastern Seminary, pursuing a degree in pastoral counseling. Luke and his wife, Charlotte Clevenger, both serve on staff at Central.

Connie joined our staff in September 2007. She has been a member fo the church since June 2007 and is a current member of the Faith Discovery Life Group. She and her husband, Roland, have four children, Susan, Chris, April, and Naren.

Justin joined our staff in April 2026. As Louisiana natives, he and his wife, Melinda, felt called by God to move to North Carolina in 2025 and made the move in January 2026. Justin earned a B.S. in Sports Administration with a minor in Business from Louisiana State University and brings over 10 years of experience in the real estate and construction industries, with a focus on operations, finance, compliance, and training. Justin and Melinda are also joyfully expecting their first child in September 2026.
