Ed has served as lead pastor of Central since March of 2000.

A native from Seaboard, NC, he received a  Doctorate of Ministry in Christian Leadership from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity in Christian Education from Campbell University Divinity School.

He and his wife Christy have three children - Daniel (wife Hunter) , T.W., and Hannah Grace,  and one grandchild Nash.
